Dermatix Silicone gel is used for for scar prevention in freshly healed wounds and reduction of prominent immature scars caused due to surgery, caesarean, burns or trauma.

Dermatix relieves the itching and irritation associated with would healing. 

 Silicone gel works by hydrating the skin and improving skin healing. It works best on scars that are showing signs of healing such as itching, redness, irritation or continuous growth of the scar. 

It generally works best on scars that are less than 2 years old.

Dermatix is clinically proven for lightening, softening and flattening Keloid scars. Keloid scars are a type of raised scar, as a result of an overly aggressive healing process. They extend beyond the original injury boundary. 

Scars can never be 100% removed, but Dermatix®Ultra has more than 85% success rate in softening and diminishing raised scars.

The gel is applied twice daily and initial improvements can be seen in 8-12 weeks. Depending on the severity of the scar, treatment may need to continue for longer. 

Skin irritation may occur (1 in 1000 people).
