Kalms day contains a low dose of Valerian and Hops. These two herbal medicines have been traditionally used as a sleep aid and there are evidence to prove their safety and benefits. Kalms Day contain a lower dose of these medicines so it is less likely to make you sleep but it can still work to calm you down during periods of stress, mild anxiety or irritability. 

How does Kalms Day help my stress, anxiety or irritability?

There are many studies about the effectiveness of Valerian and Hops. Some studies have reported benefits in patients taking a product containing either of these herbs; however, the studies did not meet the gold standards for clinical trials so the available evidence is not strong. 

Kalms Day is licenced as a herbal medicinal product. the effectiveness of this medicine is based on traditional use only.   

Adults and elderly over 18 years old: Take TWO tablets three times a day after meals. 

Possible side effects associated with Kalms Day use include:

- Gastrointestinal effects such as nausea, and stomach cramps have been reported with Valerian root preparations. The frequency is not known.
