Hiprex is a medicine with a proven effectiveness for treatment and prevention of recurrent lower urinary tract (bladder) infections. The infection can cause inflammation of the bladder known as Cystitis.

The bacterial infection causes an acidic environment in the bladder and Hiprex works by the formation of formaldehydes in bladder that results in killing the bacteria and providing relief from cystitis.
